Association canadienne de canyonisme
Supporting responsible canyoning practices across Canada. The CCA is a newly incorporated national organization working, with humility and transparency, to build shared standards, stewardship, safety collaboration, and community partnership.
Acknowledgement
The Canadian Canyoning Association recognizes that canyoning activities take place on the traditional territories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada. We acknowledge the enduring relationship Indigenous communities have with the land, water, and canyon environments, and we commit to approaching our work with respect, listening, and collaboration.
We recognize that this acknowledgment is only a starting point and that meaningful relationships are built through ongoing dialogue, learning, and partnership.
Why we exist
The Association works through public consultation and ongoing engagement to develop shared standards, promote environmental stewardship, protect access to canyon routes, support safety and rescue collaboration, and strengthen cooperation across the canyoning community.

Transparency
The Canadian Canyoning Association is currently in its development phase. While our goals are defined, many programs, standards, and resources are still being built. We publish regular updates following board meetings so we do not overclaim.
